Bio:

Originally from Boston, Professor Lynne Nagle has taught Studio Voice and Voice Classes at Cal Poly Pomona since 2008. Previously, she has served on the faculties at USC, Occidental College, Harbor College, and Pasadena City College. She holds a B.Mus in Vocal Performance from DePauw University and an M.A. in Music from Occidental College. She achieved Candidacy for the D.M.A. at USC Thornton School of Music. Her performance experiences have included Soloist for First Congregational Church of Los Angeles, 1984 Summer Olympics Choir in Los Angeles, Occidental College Faculty Recitalist, USC Faculty Recitalist, Long Beach Opera, Long Beach Chorale, and numerous solo recitals in the Boston area. Her students have sung in L.A. Master Chorale, LA Chamber Singers, The Metropolitan Opera, Oberlin Opera Theater, Long Beach Opera, Long Beach State University Opera, and have received numerous awards and scholarships from NATS, Loren L. Zachary Society, Southern California Vocal Association, and Barbershop Harmony National Sweepstakes.
