Nobel Laureate and economist Vernon L. Smith will speak on Sept. 25 at Cal Poly Pomona on his recent book, “Humanomics Moral Sentiments and the Wealth of Nations for the Twenty-First Century.”

Smith, professor of economics and law at Chapman University, won the prize in 2002 for his work in experimental economics. His work includes more than 250 articles and books published. He co-authored the 2019 book with Bart. J. Wilson.

Hosted by the Economics Club, the event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Bronco Student Center, Ursa Minor.
