The Collins College took advantage of the nearly 2,600 top industry leaders visiting the heart of Los Angeles for the 2015 Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) and hosted its inaugural ALIS Reception downtown at The California Club for faculty and staff, the Board of Advisors, Collins Hospiality Society members and other hospitality professionals.

Andrew Rosenfield, a Collins alumn and assistant general manager of The California Club, coordinated the evening with The Collins College where more than 35 attendees enjoyed the timeless architecture of the classical California Club with fine wine, gourmet hors d'oeuvres and good company.

"The Collins Hospitality Society was very pleased with the turnout and intends on making this an annual event part and parcel with the ALIS conference, " said Jason Dineros, president of the Collins Hospitality Society.

Dean Dr. Lea Dopson was present to give an update about the great things happening at The Collins College. She also attended the 3-day conference.

"Having an annual Alumni Reception during the ALIS Conference provides a unique opportunity for The Collins College to connect with our alumni and board members during a significant industry event," said Dr. Dopson. "This inaugural year, we had a great time and were able to catch up with many members of our Collins College family.”
