Howard Gordon is an entrepreneurial hospitality industry leader with extensive experience from strategy development through tactical execution. He has a strong track record of sustainable business results as well as continuous improvement through innovation, team development and a rigorous pursuit of excellence.
Gordon is 3rd generation in the restaurant business, 5th generation in the baking industry and 3nd generation in liquor, wine and beverage distribution as well as being a beverage industry brand innovator.
Although his history includes operating a number of hospitality businesses, opening a visionary retail bakery, serving as a partner and innovator for Paradise Tropical Tea®, it was his work with The Cheesecake Factory Restaurants that earned Howard, national and international acclaim. After 12 years, over 150 restaurant openings including two new concepts, being the face of and assisting in building and managing The Cheesecake Factory brand, he created Gordon Hospitality Group, a business providing consulting and project management for the hospitality and service industries, assisting companies to improve their operations, culture, developing new concepts and scaling businesses for successful growth. Howard is also a partner in Curate Technologies with a hospitality AI app revolutionizing the restaurant industry.
Mr. Gordon is also involved in giving back to the Hospitality Industry through being the past Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Collin’s College of Hospitality, Mentoring Students, Board Member of Athletes and Entertainers for Kids, past Chairman of the Food Service Chapter for fundraising at City of Hope Medical Center, Founding Board Member of The Cheesecake Factory Charitable Foundation and sitting on or advising Board’s for a number of restaurant companies.
