Fire Alarm Testing in Building 2 on Friday, Feb. 16

Summary of disruption: Electricians will test fire alarms in Building 2 (Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture) on Friday, Feb. 16, from 6 to 7:30 a.m. In the event testing is not completed, tests will continue on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 6 a.m. until all alarms are checked. At the start of testing, the elevator will be taken out of service for approximately 15 minutes.

Reason for disruption: To ensure that fire alarm systems are working properly.

How does this affect me? Loud fire alarms and flashing strobe lights may disrupt building occupants. Elevator service will not be available early in the morning.

What do I need to do? Plan accordingly to avoid being in the building during testing of alarms and strobe lights.  Please share this information with others in the building who may not have received this message.
