Mechanical Engineering Clubs & Organizations

Many student clubs and organizations are active in the Mechanical Engineering department at Cal Poly Pomona. These include ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers), SAE (The Society Of Automotive Engineers), Pi Tau Sigma (the Mechanical Engineering honor society), and the Robotics Club.

Clubs participate in design competitions, host guest speakers, assist with job placement, provide tutoring, offer services to the department, and provide for the social and recreational needs of Mechanical Engineering students.

Activities of clubs and organizations can be found at bulletin board outside the ME department office (17-2353), or just stop by one of their regular meetings.
