MEP Calendar of Events

MEP offers several activities and events throughout the year. MEP offers twice weekly one-hour workshops, large "milestone" events once per quarter, and fieldtrips via "Freshmen Fridays." All events are posted to the MEP Calendar.

2019/2020 Calendar

Below are MEP “milestone” events. These involve the entire freshman cohort and also serve to recognize rising scholars (continuing sophomore/junior/senior students).

* MEP students have been allotted seats during the first four Summer Orientation sessions.

Not included in the MEP events calendar are:

  • Tutoring (mandatory for freshmen); offered Monday through Friday at various hours and locations
  • One-hour career information sessions and “soft skills” workshops; held on Tuesday/Thursdays during U-Hour
  • “Freshmen Fridays;” these are community engagement projects or industry tours at off-site locations
  • MEP Ambassadors monthly leadership and professional development (various dates/times and locations)
  • MEP Scholarship Luncheons (various dates/times and locations)
