RTP & Faculty Evaluation
Reappointment, Tenure & Promotion (RTP)
Beginning academic year 2019-20, Cal Poly Pomona will be using the Interfolio online platform to compile and review the contents of the RTP package as required by Policy #1328. Electronic submission via Interfolio replaces the printed RTP packet.

In order for you to submit your RTP packet via Interfolio, an administrator (Dept Chair/DRTPC Chair), will need to first create a case (during 2nd week of Fall 2019). Once the case is created, you will be able to access instructions for submitting your packet along with links to upload the required documents and forms. You will be notified that your case is ready via email. In the meantime, please feel free to begin drafting your candidate's report and self-evaluation using the form below. This will become part of your RTP submission.
Faculty who wish to submit supplementary materials (copies of publications, syllabi, videos, etc.) must upload those materials together with an index of those materials via Interfolio. Recognizing that faculty who will be going up for Tenure and/or Promotion in the 2019-2020 cycle would likely have a large volume of materials to scan, they should be allowed to provide a hard copy of those materials. Following past practice, printed supplementary materials stay at the department level but could be requested at other review levels if needed; the materials index must still be uploaded electronically. Pursuant to the CBA (Article 15.9), indexed materials shall be returned to the faculty member whereas the index itself must be permanently placed in the Personnel Action File.
Fall 2019 RTP Workshops
We offered RTP workshops for faculty going through the RTP process and for evaluators at all levels: RTP Committees (DRTPC, CRTPC, URTPC), Department Chair and Dean. The workshops provided an overview of the applicable policies and a segment at the end about Interfolio.
Interfolio Open Labs
We will be offering Open Lab time to field any specific question you have regarding Interfolio. Location: SSB (121-West, MPR-1963). No registration required.
