Healthy Steps

Join the SHCS Wellness Center's Healthy Steps Program and walk your way to a healthy and fit life in just 4 short weeks!

How to start:

  • Wear a pedometer for 3 consecutive days to calculate an average or purchase a FitBit®
  • Track the total number of daily steps on our form
  • At the end of the 4th week, bring your completed form to the SHCS Wellness Center

Ways to accumulate your steps: (download a campus map with mileage routes)

  • Join the Monday Mile program
  • Walk to class instead of taking the shuttle
  • Park further away
  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator
  • Join the Bronco Fitness Center and participate in their exercise programs
