CHECK-OUT DAY IS JUNE 14, 2013
This is a reminder that your University Housing Services License Agreement (contract) ends at 5:00 P.M on FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2013. This means you must be completely moved out and have returned your keys by this time if you are not staying for the Summer Quarter. Please make all travel arrangements – especially air travel - according to this deadline.
SUMMER HOUSING AVAILABLE
Interested in staying on campus for the Summer? You do not have to be enrolled in classes to live on-campus for the Summer Quarter. If you are interested in housing for the Summer Quarter 2013 you may now complete the Summer License Agreement online through the StudentWeb; the summer building will be Vista de las Estrellas. All other buildings will be closed for the summer.
DON’T FORGET TO FORWARD YOUR MAIL
Don’t forget to submit a Change of Address Form so your mail can be forwarded to your summer address. Submit the Change of Address Form online through the StudentWeb. Your mail will be returned to sender if you fail to submit a Change of Address Form. The forwarding of your mail is a courtesy service provided by Cal Poly Pomona’s Distribution Services and they would like you to remember:
- It takes up to 4 weeks for Cal Poly’s Distribution Services to process the Change of Address request.
- Magazines will NOT be forwarded; therefore you must contact the company directly.
- The service is temporary, so you still need to contact any companies that send you mail directly regarding your change in address.
- If you live at CRS, you must submit a Change of Address form from the U.S. Postal Service and return it to them, the link on StudentWeb will not work for you.
STILL HAVE MEAL POINTS?
Don’t forget that meal points expire at the end of the current license period, June 14, 2013. Any unused meal points will be forfeited; they will not roll over, even if you are living on campus for the Summer.
TUTORING OPEN HOUSE
There will be a Tutor Open House in Montecito Hall on Tuesday, May 9 at 8:00 p.m. Check out the Tutoring program, as well as enjoy food and opportunity drawing items! Have any questions? Contact Christy Orgeta at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CONDUCT DID YOU KNOW
Did you know that:
... You can be documented for being intoxicated in UHS parking lots? If a University Staff Member (UPD, RA, Residence Life Coordinator, etc.) notices that you are returning to the community and intoxicated, you will be documented and will need to meet with a Residence Life Coordinator. Documentations can take place anywhere on UHS property, including Residential Parking Lots.
… It is against University Policy to skateboard on campus? The usage of rollerblades, skateboards, motorized skateboards, roller skates or similar coasting devices is prohibited on campus. If found, UPD will cite you with a vehicle code violation that you may have to appear in court for.
Make your life easier by making good decisions—it’s good for the community and good for you. Have any questions? Contact Lead Conduct Officer Christy Orgeta at email@example.com.
