AMM LONDON STUDY/INTERN ABROAD
SPRING QUARTER 2018

London, U.K.

Study, intern and live in the heart of London!  Each spring AMM sends a group of juniors and seniors to London.  Students live and study in central London combining classroom time with working in the London fashion industry as an intern.  In class, they learn about Fast Fashion Retailing and Apparel Marketing Research.  In the latter students experience working on a live project with a London-based fashion retailer.  Three days a week students intern at a variety of fashion/ retail companies. With three long holiday weekends while in London, there is also time to explore Europe!

Area(s) of Study

AMM Field Study is an elective class that provides a great opportunity to experience the international nature of the fashion business in a condensed format.  Students visit the offices of major design houses, fashion manufacturers, retailers, publishers and trading companies to meet their executives.  They also take in aspects of local culture with visits to museums, historic places, commercial districts, and shopping centers.  In addition, they have chance to sample the cuisine, the scenery, and the lifestyle.
