PERU HONORS SUMMER 2018
Lima & Cuzco, Peru
Students will spend 5 days in Lima and 4 days in Cuzco learning about Peruvian culture and society through cultural visits and volunteering.
Area(s) of Study
All students take CLS 482/BUS 483:"International Fieldwork in Peru" (4 Units) during Spring Quarter. The faculty-led program to Peru will take place in June 2018.
The course is an introduction to Peruvian society and culture. The social systems and culture of Pery will be analyzed comparatively with those in the Unitd States.
Language(s) of Instruction
Junior standing at time of program start date.
A minimum cumulative CPP GPA of 2.5 for non-Honors students
Students will be lodging in a double-occupancy hotel room.
The program cost includes the following:
- Site Visits/Excursion Fees
- Ground Transportation
- Student Travel Insurance

- Welcome dinner in Lima
- Farewell dinner in Cusco
- Daily breakfast at hotels
Please obtain a deposit slip from Grace Olguin at the International Center (1-104). Students pay $500 non-refundable application fee and regular Cal Poly Pomona tuition for the Summer course. Students are responsible for obtaining a passport. Scholarships are available!
