Environmental Health &Safety Internship

EH&S Internship in the Learning Labs Internship Program

The College of Science internship program under the department of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) was developed to provide interns with valuable real-world experience in a variety of areas regarding environmental compliance and occupational safety. Interns are afforded the opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience in a variety of disciplines including the use of computerized data/training systems, development of learning modules for employee safety training, and regulatory compliance issues including a basic understanding in complex program development and implementation.

This position is conveniently located on campus in the Environmental Health and Safety Department Office in the CLA Building (98), which allows interns the benefit of a quick commute to and from classes to report for internship hours. All internships are unpaid opportunities where interns are awarded course credit to apply towards a degree curriculum.

I encourage you to explore our internship program and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
