Knowledge Center @ the Library

Knowledge Center @ the Library

This is a new service and space that started in 2017. This area was formerly occupied by shelves of hundreds of reference volumes. These resources were moved to the book stacks on the third to the sixth floors to make room for this multi-purpose area. Thinking of the needs of students, we thought this space could better be used to serve students by providing an area for campus departments to meet with students for tutoring and advising as well as to host co-curricular activities. The Knowledge Center's purpose is to encourage collaborative efforts whether they be academics or community building. Therefore several activities can be happening in this space at any one time. Students are welcome to use this space for studying, but please be aware that this multi-purpose space is used for other activities as well.
