There are two mandatory components of Orientation (Online Orientation and On-campus Orientation) for all new undergraduate students. Orientation is an enrollment requirement, if you do not satisfy orientation requirements, you will not be able to enroll in classes.
When you attend orientation, you’ll get acclimated to the university by taking tours of the campus, learning about important programs and resources, participating in informational workshops, interacting with faculty and staff, and getting to know other new students. You will receive academic advising and register for classes during orientation.
Orientation is from 8am until 6pm on the first day. You must stay overnight in the Residence Halls.
The second day starts at 7am and ends at different times depending on your major.
Important Update: The westbound on-ramp from campus to the I-10 freeway will be closing starting in May through July. Please follow our PolyCentric website for the latest updates. Get directions to the university and review the dynamic campus map or the campus shuttle map. Use our Getting Here website to find out information about local airports and public transportation.
