Summer Research Seminars
In collaboration with the College of Business, McNair Scholars Program, and Achieve Scholars Program, the Office of Undergraduate Research will host a weekly Summer Research Seminar Series every Wednesday starting June 20th from 12 to 1 pm in the University Library, Room 1807. The Seminar Series is open to the public.
The Summer Research Seminars are all-inclusive of a dynamic range of topics and offer the opportunity for students to learn beyond their field. Each week, a new speaker will present their research and a pizza lunch is provided courtesy of sponsoring colleges and programs. Participants include Cal Poly Pomona students and faculty working on campus over the summer, students from programs including the McNair Scholars Program, NSF REU, as well as students who are part of the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience Program. The goal of the seminar series is to enrich students and faculty participating in summer programs on campus.
