What is Undergraduate Research?

What is UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH?

Undergraduate research (UR) refers to any activity that allows students to explore and contribute to their field beyond what is taught in the classroom. Students work collaboratively with faculty mentors, who assist in providing a deeper understanding of not only the subject matter at hand, but best practices in regards to the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information.

Why participate in UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH?

Participating in undergraduate research will expand your academic experience at CPP. Research is a process of careful inquiry leading to the discovery of new information. Although there are some differences in how research is conducted across disciplines, research includes creative activities and occurs in all programs at CPP.
