University Police Officers partner with various departments to conduct self-defense workshops. For information and scheduled classes, contact the Watch Commander at (909) 869-4500.
Crime Prevention and Safety Programs
Police officers and professional staff conduction presentations, programs and workshops on a wide range of crime prevention and safety related topics for classroom, staff meetings, residence hall programs, etc. Commonly requested topics include: Safe Party, Alcohol Awareness and Simulation (Beer Goggles), Office Safety and Security, Campus Safety, Identity Theft, Theft Prevention, Deescalation and Dealing with Difficult People, etc.
Special Events
Some special events on campus may require police officer staffing, such as dances, concerts, events with large and/or off campus attendees, events held after business hours, and events where alcohol is served.
