                            International NGO Fieldwork in London
                          Spring Semester; Course: CLS 4990-03
                           Summer Fieldwork: TBA




Course Description: (the offering of this course is to be determined) students will enroll in the Spring Semester course CLS 4990-03, "International NGO Fieldwork in London" and attend sessions during the final five weeks of the semester in preparation for a 12-day trip to London/Paris during the summer. Students will learn about the history of NGOs (nonprofits) in London before traveling there to shadow employees in London-based NGOs for one week. Students will spend 9 days in London and 3 days in Paris. Students will receive the grade of "RP" (Report in Progress) after the Spring Semester, which will be replaced with an actual grade after the completion of the summer program. London was ranked as the
best travel destination in the world by TripAdvisor and Paris was ranked #2.

Approximate Program Cost: $2,800 (includes airfare, lodging, food, insurance, and subway transportation in London, and train expense to Paris)

Financial Aid: because this fieldwork experience is integrated with a Spring Semester 2022 course, financial aid from Spring 2022 can be used for this trip.
