Application Procedures

General Information

To apply for the MS program, you are encouraged to submit your application online by clicking on Apply to CSU Online. You may also request an application package be sent to you by contacting the Office of Admissions and Outreach at 909-869-5299.

Applications are accepted semester by semester except Summer. You may check the admissions web site for Admission Deadlines. We strongly encourage you to submit your application during the initial application filing period.

Application Steps You Need to Take

1. Application: Access CSU Apply for graduate applications and complete the online application. The $70 application fee must be submitted with your application by credit card online or by mail. Follow the online instructions to complete the application AND upload ALL required documents by the deadline for timely review of your application.
2. The MS CS Application Supplemental Form. This Program Application form is REQUIRED and applications missing this completed form uploaded to CSU Mentor site may be declined without review. CAS ID can be found on the CSU Apply profile. Report GPA in a 4.0 scale.
3. In addition MS CS Application Supplemental Form, applicants are REQUIRED to submit a statement of purpose (why applying to CPP CS MS program and how it will help to achieve your career objectives), resume/CV, two letters of recommendation and unoffical pdf transcript on CSU Apply.
4. Transcripts: REQUIRED to Mail one set of official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended to:

   Admissions Office

   Pomona, CA 91768

5. TOEFL Score: REQUIRED to have your TOEFL (if relevant) score sent directly from Educational Testing Service (ETS) to Cal Poly Pomona at the address above.

Inquiry Application Status

To inquire about your application status, you may check status on-line at BroncoDirect using the Bronco ID given by the Admissions office. If you don't have a Bronco ID, please contact the Admissions Office at (909) 869-3210 or admissions@cpp.edu.
