Rebekah Aguilar

Rebekah Aguilar is a 2nd year transfer student, 4th year physics major with a biophysics sub-option. She is currently LSAMP NSF scholar working under Dr. Abramzon in studying the feasibility of a cheaper and more portable detector to examine the naturally occurring radioactivity in objects such as soil and rocks. Apart from having a grand time doing physics, Rebekah has fun with the running club and is the Vice President of the Bronco Pep Band. After graduation she plans on going to graduate school to investigate the fascinating field of biophysics and medicine.
