Sam Robinson, AEA
Sam is an accomplished actor, director and teaching artist, with a focus on the classics. His training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) led to performance work across England, Canada and the United States. In addition he has acted and directed classical productions that have toured Southern California with performances at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, the Geffen Playhouse and El Capitan. Favorite roles include Antony in Julius Caesar and Antipholus of Syracuse in the Comedy of Errors. Sam is the former Managing Director of Will & Company, an Artist in Residence through the Cultural Affairs Department and he runs the Theatre Conservatory at Mayfield Senior School. For the Southern California Shakespeare Festival, he directed Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Tempest and has performed in SCSF productions of Julius Caesar (Soothsayer/Narrator), Macbeth (Banquo) and As You Like It (Jaques).
