Engineering Laboratories to Undergo Telephone and IT Network Outage Starting on Friday, Aug. 12

Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will disconnect the telephone and IT network systems in the Engineering Laboratories (Building 17) starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12. Network services are expected to be back online by 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14.

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.  

How does this affect me? Avoid being in the buildings during the network interruptions.
