Two Buildings Scheduled to Undergo Electrical Outage Starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29

Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will briefly interrupt power to four buildings starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29. Campus crews will be on standby to restore power.

The scheduled outage times and buildings:

Thursday, Dec. 29 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

University Library (Building 15)

Wednesday, Dec. 29 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Information Technology & Institutional Planning (Building 91)

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.  

How does this affect me? Avoid being in the buildings during the power interruption. Lights, HVAC systems and elevators will not be in service.

What do I need to do? Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
