"Seance to Summon a Garden" Nov 7-9, 2023

Next week Nov 7-9, we have an amazing, one-time opportunity to offer all Univ faculty and staff in various areas a morale-building, personal wellness, and colleague-bonding opportunity. With all that we have been through over the last few years, I have put together this event series to offer staff, faculty and admin an opportunity to "restart" and "refresh" in a delightful way. The "Seance to Summon a Garden" event series is especially customized for our campus by sound artist Joshua-Michele Ross. Ross has gathered extensive field recordings from diverse areas across Cal Poly Pomona while visiting the campus in the early Fall of 2023. These sounds have been assembled into a series of independent, musical clips that participants play and interact with in magical, unique combinations.
