Join us on April 13!

The Mechanical Engineering Department, along with the College of Engineering, will host the open house tours on April 13, 2024 (Saturday).

Throughout the guided tour, the guests will visit the material lab, the thermal-fluid lab, and the ME student project labs, with our faculties demonstrating our "learn-by-doing" curriculum! The guests can have face-to-face conversations with the department chair, professors, and students. Each tour is about 1 hour 15 minutes long.

The tours will depart every 15 minutes, starting at 10 am*. The last tour will depart at 1 pm. 

There is no reservation for the department tour. (You need to register at the BroncoBound). We will dispense the tour tickets on a first-come first-serve basis, at the Mechanical Engineering booth in front of Building 9, starting at 9:00 am. 

Besides the department tour, the College of Engineering will host the information sessions starting at 9:00 am. Cal Poly Pomona will also host a series of activities at the university level. Please visit the BroncoBound website for details.

Correction Note

*Please note that the correct start time for the department tour is 10:00 am, as opposed to the 9:00 am stated by an email sent out on April 10. The last tour will depart at 1:00 pm, instead of 2:00 pm.

We will start dispensing tour ticket at 9:00 am. There are walk-in activities held between 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm.
