Instructions to navigate site

The navigation for the site is made up of multiple parts. The expand menu button will open the menu and take you to the complete site menu. The search button will open the expand menu and place you in the search box. The complete site menu is made up of the first five links are library, online service, directory, maps, and calendar. This is followed by the search box. The next links are 6 groupings of links related to about cal poly, admissions, academics, campus life, athletics, and giving. Social media links are next and the last item is a button to close the menu and take you to the top of the main page content.

A Message to the Campus Community

A Message from Dr. Coley

I have great news to share with you that should not come as a surprise. A national survey — in fact, the most robust analysis of college graduates yet conducted — shows that Cal Poly Pomona is among the best universities in the country at raising the economic prospects of students from low-income families.

The Equality of Opportunity Project study, published Wednesday, shows that Cal Poly Pomona ranks ninth nationally when it comes to helping students climb the income ladder from the lowest fifth to the top fifth. New York Times columnist David Leonhardt, who wrote about the findings, says institutions such as ours “continue to push many Americans into the middle class and beyond — many more, in fact, than elite colleges that receive far more attention.”
