The campus community is invited to celebrate Cal Poly Pomona Day at the Los Angeles County Fair on Sunday, Sept. 25.
President and Mrs. Ortiz, along with student leaders and club representatives, will march and ride in the parade at 1 p.m. The parade route starts at the Millard Sheets Center for the Arts, loops around the Outdoor Living and Carnival areas, and ends near the Green Gate. Participants include: the men¿s and women¿s basketball teams, Billy Bronco, Tony the Tiger, ASI leaders, tractors, the SAE Formula race car, dance and cheer teams, and the Bronco Pep Band.
In addition, student clubs and university departments will set up booths to provide information about their organizations and the university. The club fair will be held near the Blue Gate, which is the entrance off White Avenue.
Students, faculty and staff will receive free admission when they show their Bronco ID card and a printable coupon. To download the coupon, click here. Alumni can receive admission for $5 by downloading and presenting the alumni coupon.
