University President Soraya M. Coley welcomed the campus community to the 2020-21 academic school year with a virtual celebration.

The annual Convocation, held Monday, Aug. 17, included a Native American blessing of the land, a nod to new faculty and a State of the University address by the president that touched on the resilience of the Cal Poly Pomona community in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
