University News Website Gets New Look and Name
The news site formerly known as Polycentric has a new name and feel.
CPP News, which launches March 7, has been redesigned to improve the way stories and photos are displayed and organized, as well as making the site easier to navigate. The changes are part of an effort to improve the experience for faculty, staff, students and other visitors to the website and to maintain consistency with the university’s various news channels – including CPP This Week, CPP in the News and CPP Magazine.
On the new CPP News, readers can:
- Browse stories by both college and topic.
- Share stories via social media.
- Access the university publications CPP Magazine and Bronco Digital Magazine.
- Easily search the site for past stories.
In addition, reporters from media outlets can find resources, StratComm contacts, and faculty and staff experts.
Later, a planned Phase II will feature a section for events that highlights the most important happenings on campus.
The CPP News redesign is a collaboration among the Department of Strategic Communications, IT Mobile and Web Applications, Process and Project Management Office and IT Cloud Services. For questions and feedback, email news@cpp.edu.
