Where to Take Graduation Pictures on Campus

Three students pose for a photo on the CPP Letters at the Park at 98.

It’s everyone’s favorite season of the year, graduation season!

We invite Class of 2024 graduates to take advantage of a range of scenic locations for graduation photos on campus. Here are the best spots:

1. CPP Metal Letters at Park at 98

Commemorate your time at CPP in front of the iconic metal letters in front of Building 98 (CLA) installed last year.

2. The Bronco Statue Anais Hernandez at the Bronco Statue

While this statue isn’t quite Billy Bronco, it is a great way to incorporate our university mascot into photos. Located in front of the BRIC and surrounded by the Residential Suites, you can document your time as a Bronco with the statue.

3. The Aratani Japanese Garden

The Aratani Japanese Garden is an iconic part of CPP’s campus. Whether or not you’ve walked by or laid down in the garden, the bridges and nature setting are perfect for graduation photos.

4. Rose Garden

The Rose Garden is another iconic part of CPP’s scenic campus. Pose with the roses or in the gazebo for classic graduation photos.

5. Old Stables’ Fountain

The Fountain at the old stables makes for an elegant photo spot. Framed by the recognizable arches of the stables, it creates an aesthetic spot for photos and captures a historical part of campus.

6. Front of the Old Stables Taz Alamillo and Anais Hernandez in front of the Old Stables

The front of the old Stables has two large barn doors that commemorate another part of our campus’ history. Remember the views on your walks to class, the dining hall, or the Student Services Building by posing in front of the old stables occupied by horses many years ago.

7. Student Services Breezeway

The Student Services Building is a relatively new addition to our campus and makes for a beautiful backdrop for graduation photos with the historic Old Stables in the background.

Additionally, at the university's commencement ceremonies from May 17-20, there will be a backdrop in front of Building 1 where graduates can pose for photos before and after their ceremonies.
