Poli Sci Professor Neil Chaturvedi Selected Editor-in-Chief of Political Research Quarterly

Neil Chaturvedi, professor of political science, has been named editor-in-chief of Political Research Quarterlythe official journal of the Western Political Science Association. The association announced its new nine-member editorial board in late April.  

The PRQ is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research on all aspects of politics. Among the leading generalist journals of political science, itseeks to publish significant contributions to research that engages readers across multiple fields of scholarship. 

Chaturvedi, who is also the director of the Weglyn Endowed Chair in Multicultural Studies, is a renowned scholar of American politics, with an emphasis on the Congress, the presidency, voting behavior, and race and ethnic politics. He is the author of “Life in the Middle: Marginalized Moderate Senators in the Era of Polarization (Oxford University Press, 2021) and has also been published in The HillThe Washington Post, and the Sacramento Bee as well as in Legislative Studies Quarterly, American Politics Research, Social Science Quarterly, Presidential Studies Quarterly, and Religion and Politics, among other outlets.
