Cal Poly Pomona has postponed two job fairs after students, alumni and community members raised concerns over the participation of Customs and Border Protection as an on-site recruiter, amid heightened anxieties about immigration enforcement on campus. While rumors mistakenly implicated ICE, the university clarified that ICE had never been involved and that career fair programming is being redesigned to better reflect students' needs in a more thoughtful format.
