Ontario International Airport taps CPP students in CEO Business Challenge

Ontario International Airport teamed up with the College of Business Administration to host the CEO Business Challenge, a juried competition inviting students to develop innovative ideas for improving the airport’s mobility and parking services. More than 100 students participated, touring the airport and pitching their concepts to a panel of executives, faculty and industry leaders who evaluated entries for strategic insight, creativity and real-world feasibility. NewGate Solutions, a team comprised of students Brandon Gonzalez (‘26, management and human resources), Arvean Kiannasr (‘27, finance, real estate, and law), Peter Hwang (‘27, marketing), Shane Whittle (‘27, finance, real estate and law) and Tyler Soon (‘27, technology and operations management), took home top honors.
