While everyone was preparing for Thanksgiving, students at Cal Poly Pomona were busy building the Cal Poly Universities float for the 2026 Rose Parade — for decades the only student-designed and student-built entry. “Jungle Jumpstart,” a joint-collaboration with their counterparts from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s Rose Float team, features a jaguar, lemurs and a toucan all working together.
