CPP's advanced water refilling stations helps facilities maintenance team stay proactive
Cal Poly Pomona uses one of the most advanced water bottle filling stations in the market. Cloud-connected water bottle filling stations are helping the university’s Facilities Planning and Management maintenance team remotely monitor filters for replacement before service issues arise. “Having these automated features where it can give you reminders is just another layer to help us not be so reactive for our maintenance program,” says Brian Allen, director of operations and maintenance.
Also featured in this tech segment are Facilities plumber Gilbert Martinez and CPP Educational Opportunity Program student leaders Jayda Lozoya, Aidan Osuna and Hailey Pinto.
