Communication Associate Professor Ivana Cvetkovic has received a Fulbright Scholar Award to conduct research and teach in Portugal in spring 2027. At Lisbon’s Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, Cvetkovic, a former news reporter, will interview journalists about their coverage of agriculture and farming communities as part of a broader cross-cultural comparison of journalism practices in Portugal and California. She is the 46th Cal Poly Pomona faculty member to participate in the Fulbright program since 1953.
