College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences to Undergo Brief Power Outage on Thursday, Oct. 20

Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will interrupt power to the College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences (Building 5) from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20. The HVAC system and elevators will not be in service.

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.  

How does this affect me? Avoid being in the building during the power interruption. Turn off computers and electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
