Campus to Undergo Two-Hour Electrical Interruption Starting at 5 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11

Summary of disruption: The campus will undergo a power shutdown from approximately 5 to 7 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11 that will affect all buildings. Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power.

Reason for disruption: Allow the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor to make permanent repairs to electrical relays that will tie into the new campus electrical system.     

How does this affect me? Avoid being on campus during the power interruption.

What do I need to do? Turn off your computer and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Thursday, Feb. 10. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
