Construction of iLab in Building One Scheduled to Start on Tuesday, Aug. 10

Summary of disruption: The construction stage of the iLab in Building One will start on Tuesday, Aug. 10. Rooms 110 and 113A-C will undergo selective demolition to accommodate the new facility. The work is scheduled on weekdays from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and construction is expected to be completed in January, 2022.   

Reason for disruption: Renovate the rooms to create a space for innovative student projects.

How does this affect me? Measures will be taken to minimize dust and noise from the renovation. Hazardous material abatement has been completed prior to construction.

What do I need to do? Use caution when approaching the work area and be aware of contractor crews and construction materials in that part of the building.
