College of Science to Undergo Power Interruption on Saturday, Sept. 16

Summary of disruption: Electricity to wall outlets in the College of Science (Building 8) will be shut down starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16. Crew are expected to restore power by 10 a.m.

Reason for disruption: Allow crews to complete installation of components in the new campus electrical system. 

How does this affect me? The HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) system, elevators and lights will remain in operation during the work. Wall outlets will not be in service.

What do I need to do? Turn off computers, printers and other electrical devices before leaving work on Friday, Sept. 15. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
