Parking Structure 1 and Vehicle Charging Stations in Lot H to Undergo Power Shutdown Starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 23

Summary of Disruption: Power to Parking Structure 1 and the electric vehicle charging stations in Lot H will be shut down starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 23. Elevators and lights in the parking structure will not be in operation. The entry to Lot H will be cordoned off and charging stations will be closed. Crews are expected to restore electrical service by approximately 2:30 p.m.

Reason for Disruption: Allow campus crews to replace circuit breakers for two elevators in the structure and the charging stations.

How does this affect me? Elevators and lights in the parking structure will not be service. The traffic signal at Kellogg Drive and Palm Drive also will not be in operation. Use vehicle charging stations in other nearby lots during the outage.

What do I need to do? Drivers are urged to turn on headlights and exercise caution if using the parking structure. Exit the structure using stairways during the work.
