Cal Poly Pomona's summer classes can be a fast pass to graduation. For summer 2017, the university is offering more than 650 courses, including many high demand classes.

Priority registration for Cal Poly Pomona students begins on Wednesday, April 19. General registration begins on Monday, April 24.

"We really want to encourage students to take advantage of the summer sessions," says Sepehr Eskandari, interim associate vice president for academic planning and faculty affairs. "It's a great way to take required courses, especially those in high demand, and stay on track for graduation."

Limited financial aid, including some grant money, is available for Cal Poly Pomona students who meet the qualifications.

The add/drop period for summer session is June 12 through August 1. Students can choose from three sessions. A 10-week session runs from June 19 - Aug. 1. Five week sessions are offered June 19 - July 25 and July 2 - Aug. 31.

More information about summer session, including the course schedule, tuition, registration, financial aid and housing, is available on the Summer Session website.
