This Veteran's Day, we honor our Cal Poly Pomona student and alumni veterans by reflecting on the impact of the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) over the last ten years.
Established in 2012, the VRC commemorated its 10th anniversary in October, celebrating a decade of supporting the personal and academic success of CPP's military affiliated students.
"A lot of us feel like we're by ourselves when we go to school, and once we come to the VRC, it helps us feel like we belong," said Jovan Santos, student-veteran.
The VRC currently serves 1,500 students. Veterans on campus looking to get involved with the VRC can explore their website, follow them on Instagram, or email vetquestions@cpp.edu.
Take a look at the VRC's milestones, achievements, and student stories from 2012-2022.
