Tenure-Track Positions

Full Time Employment

The Accounting Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) invites applications for a tenure-track position at assistant professor with specialization in one or more of the following areas to begin Fall Semester 2024: All accounting-related areas. Candidates must have a Ph.D./D.B.A. in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited school. For the taxation area, candidates with a combination of LL.M. (taxation) and J.D. degrees will be considered. ABDs will be considered if the degree is completed by August 1, 2024. In addition, candidates must have knowledge and application of current accounting theory and practices. Research, publication, and other professional development are required. Faculty will also be involved in campus-wide committees, department activities, and other administrative tasks. The department is especially interested in candidates who can demonstrate an ability to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and service, as well as experience working in an inclusive environment.

The position is open until filled. First consideration will be given to completed applications received no later than September 11, 2023. Early response is encouraged.
