VRC Offers Scholarships

Nikole Sauter and Cedrick Moreno Rodriguez are VRC scholarship recipients for the 2022-2023 academic year. Each year during CPP Scholarship Fest, the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) offers CPP’s military-affiliated students the opportunity to apply for multiple scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500. For many students, scholarships can be the difference between having to take out loans or paying out of pocket for their education. For those using Veterans Affairs Educational Benefits, scholarships could close the gap between exhausting their benefits and graduating college debt-free.

VRC scholarships are made possible by the generosity of donors who understand the challenges student veterans can face when transitioning from the military to Cal Poly Pomona. For the 2023-24 academic year, the VRC awarded 41 scholarships totaling more than $50,000!
