College of Environmental Design to Undergo Power Outage Starting on Friday, Sept. 9

Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will interrupt power to the College of Environmental Design (Building 7) starting at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9. Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power by 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11.  

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.  

How does this affect me? Avoid being in the building during the power interruption.

What do I need to do? Turn off computers and electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Friday, Sept. 9. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
