Quarter v. Semester General Education

Quarter v. Semester General Education Tool Disclaimer

The Quarter v. Semester General Education tool is continually being updated with course information. Please check back frequently for up-to-date information.

The Quarter v. Semester General Education tool is not meant to replace the University Catalog. This tool was built using the 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 General Education Catalogs. Work with your academic advisor to ensure that the General Education courses you are taking count toward your degree requirements.

Tool Last Updated: 8/23/19 at 4:15 p.m.

Explanation of Course Equivalency

If a quarter course in the table has gray boxes, this means that the semester course didn't count for General Education before or it's new.

If a semester course in the table has gray boxes, this means that the quarter course equivalent can't be taken for General Education credit in semesters.

Some courses have moved between subareas in the semester redesign. Those courses are noted in the tool.

Work with your academic advisor if you have questions about a particular course. If you have any questions about this tool, contact the Bronco Advising Center at bac@cpp.edu.
