Soraya M. Coley, Ph.D., is the Presidential Sponsor of the American Council on Education Women’s Network Southern California. She is the sixth president of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and the first woman and first African American to be named president at the institution. She leads an institution with nearly 30,000 students and 2,700 faculty and staff. Under her leadership, Cal Poly Pomona has continued to grow its legacy as the most diverse polytechnic university in the country and as a national leader in promoting social and economic mobility. Prior to Cal Poly Pomona, Dr. Coley held senior leadership positions at the CSU campuses in Bakersfield and Fullerton. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and master’s and doctoral degrees in social planning and social research from Bryn Mawr College.

Dr. Andreea Serban is an educator and administrator with more than two decades of experience in the leadership of colleges and universities in the United States and abroad and possesses a highly diverse and successful professional background. Dr. Andreea Serban currently serves as Vice Chancellor of Educational Services and Technology for Coast Community College District in Costa Mesa, CA. Dr. Serban is the district chief academic, student services and technology officer and has leadership responsibilities for instructional programs, student services, grant development, planning, institutional research, international programs, academic and administrative technology, and economic and partnership development across the three colleges in the district: Orange Coast College, Golden West College, and Coastline Community College. The three colleges offer over 300 credential and degree programs and serve 45,000 students.

On July 2019, Dr. Angelica Loera Suarez began serving as the 11th President of Orange Coast College (OCC). An educational leader for more than 20 years, she oversees Orange County's largest community college, which has been serving students since 1947. With a student population of more than 20,000, OCC provides exemplary programs leading to Associate degrees and certificates in more than 130 career programs. OCC is a leader in transfers to four-year institutions, a designated "Military Friendly Institution," a qualifying Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and boasts the only community college sailing and seamanship program in the state.

Before accepting the presidency at OCC, Dr. Suarez served as the Vice President for Student Affairs for the Southwestern Community College District. In this role, she was responsible for the leadership of the District's student support services and programs serving approximately 20,000 students each semester in five locations.  Additional administrative experience includes serving Southwestern College as Acting Superintendent/President; Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Academic Dean for the Higher Education Centers in Otay Mesa and San Ysidro. While working for City Colleges of Chicago, she served as Academic Dean at Wilbert Wright Community College. Dr. Suarez has held faculty positions in counseling at Wright College and Southwestern College.
