Jake Fry

Jake Fry graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Collins College of Hospitality Management and Kellogg Honors College at Cal Poly Pomona in 2021. He is currently a graduate student in Organizational Leadership and Learning at Pepperdine University.   

Jake has 7 years of hospitality experience working back-of-house at numerous restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Recently, he started a nonprofit, Plants 4 the People, to build community gardens with a mission of bringing communities together through food. Shortly after graduation, the alumnus returned to The Collins College as its part-time Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator before moving to his new full-time role as the College Administrative Analyst in support of the program's leadership team.

Jake’s professional experiences include publishing a cookbook, instructional design, culinary demonstrations, and restaurant experience.
